Now we are going to take it from our low cobra pose into sphinx pose so on an inhalation lift the chest up and head up off of the floor and then walk the hands forward until you come on to the forearms, elbows slightly in front of the shoulders. Good. Hugging those elbows in so that they are in line with the shoulders and with the wrist. Inhale, lengthen the spine towards the front of the room and exhale soften the heart down as the shoulders begin to wrap on the back. Inhale, inflate the rib cage as you broaden the shoulders apart keeping the muscular engagement of the upper back. Exhale draw the heart down and lengthen it forward extending through the sides of the body. Continually pushing through the belly of the forearm inhale, lift and inflate the chest up, exhale, lengthen and draw the chest forward as the tail bone lengthens back. Good one more inhale, lift pressing through the forearms, lengthening the chest forward and exhale. Turn the elbows out to the sides and rest your head on to the mat at one side. Wonderful.
