Yoga Poses for Fibromyalgia Patients pine Rotation Yoga Stretch for Fibromyalgia Patients

I'm going to do a form of the rotation of the spine. And, this is a comfortable way to sit. If this bothers your knees, you can always send your legs out. And, put something underneath your hips, like a towel and hold it like this. Otherwise, either with the heels in line or crossed at the ankles. Hands go out and place your shoulders in line with your hips. Pull the abdominals in and here we begin. Inhale the arms up really tall. And, then we exhale and rotate. Placing that hand against the knee, turning the chin around. You'll come right back up with your inhale and you'll change to the other side. Exhale, exhale, exhale. Place the hand there, pull the chin around. Try not to lean back, just stay really tall with that. Great for the spine. Also, if that bothers your shoulders and that's a really tender spot for those with fibromyalgia. Then, you can do this in a modified position. You can take it in here and go inhale and exhale. You can inhale and exhale. Anytime your shoulders begin to hurt, there's always another option. Or, even just turning like this and keep your back tall from side to side. This is very important for keeping those joints flexible and fluid to those joints. Then, you'll bring that back in. Take a deep breath and exhale it out. Do as many as you can. Start out slow and eventually work your way up to eight or ten.
