Hi, my name is Ashley Ludman from Seaside Yoga, here to tell you a little bit about the benefits of yoga. So in essence yoga is a practice that we engage in to connect to ourselves more fully. So you'll receive benefits physically by, increase body awareness, by observing how your body moves and how it has the ability to move and stretch and strengthens itself to a variety of yoga postures. And for me when I practice a posture, I just, I seem to feel myself from different advantage point. So it gives you a great sense of focus, a great sense of mental well-being and yoga also helps you to create increase efficiency within your internal organs. So many of the postures will produce toxifying or detoxifying benefits, such as, forward bends, twists, back bends help promote feelings of increase fullness in your emotional system. Yoga also has been shown to provide stress relief benefits by teaching practitioners how to consciously relax and not just on the yoga mat but when you walk out into your daily life and our meeting a stressful situation. You may remember to breath deeper, you may remember to become stronger in how you, in how you approach that situation. So the benefits of yoga are, run the full gamet from physical benefits to psychological benefits to benefits of mental well-being and flexibility and strength, all, all it ranges.
