Another great restorative posture especially if you're past three months pregnant is the Side Lying Pose. This takes a little bit to set up but without any, any further ado. If you have a bolster, what you'll do is you put that at your back. If you don't have a bolster, you can always grab couch cushions and things of that sort. Then you'll need a pillow for between your knees. And then you'll need several towels to stock in front of you, and this is for your arm. Then you'll also need several pillows or towels for your head. So what you'll do in this posture and again set your timer for about five minutes or longer if you need it. You lay on your side with the pillow between your knees. Hug the bolster into your back and let yourself lay down, finding where you need more support. So if this is too high, look at this, it's for me, you can bring this towel down here. And it's all about adjusting where you need everything. This towel is too high as well, so I can unfold in and bring that down. So you want every part of your body to be supported. Now if you are pregnant and you need an additional pillow or towel underneath your belly so it doesn't hang too heavy or feel any extra weight on that side, you can. And then if you want another cushion on your hand, just finding where you're most comfortable to lay down and close your eyes. And if you'd like to add an eye pillow or if you have an eye mask, you can place that over your eyes. Usually eye pillow's kind of fight with gravity, so just take and relax. Other thing you can do if you want a little extra support for your arm is place a towel under here and just lay back and relax. And that's Basic Side Lying Pose.
